Ryan can stop bugging me for a while :)

Okay, so I'm still struggling with keeping up on the blog!  Here are some highlights from the past few months:  

~C.J. & Owen (the crab cook and the crab) at the Harvest Festival at church

~A Sunday drive to see the Fall colors and to play in the leaves!

~A trip to Boyd's Bears in Gettysburg, PA to see Santa 

~Kris Kringle Procession in downtown Frederick, MD (new family tradition but no pictures)

~Who knew a gift bag could be so much fun?!

~Annual trip to Gaver's Tree Farm to cut down our Christmas tree!  (family tradition)

~A trip to Annapolis, MD to see the Eastport Yacht Club Holiday Light Show (new family tradition)

~Owen opening presents on Christmas day!  We had two present opening sessions due to the length of time it takes an 11 mo. old to open each gift :)

~Owen's first ride on a rocking horse and a real pony.  We went to our friend Joy's house for Christmas brunch.  Thanks Joy!

Fun in the kitchen!

Mommy let me help her make playdough for her class the other day.  I had a lot of fun!  I got a little bit of flour on me and I made a little bit of a mess in the kitchen but we had lots of fun!

Why Blue Crab Chronicles???

Well, Maryland's state crustacean is a blue crab and since Owen was born in Maryland (and he can be a crab sometimes) we (C.J. really) decided on this.

Here we are again!  I have received much grief over not keeping up on the blog so I finally decided to start again.  I will TRY to keep up.  I won't tell you all the details, but some certain family members have even been known to bash me on their own blogs, thinking I won't see.  Hmm. . . Anyway, mommyhood is very busy and I am still trying to figure out the balance between family and work.  It is crazy!
